Sea Mammals lies about morbillivirus

Sea Mammals(aka Albi Deak Facebook as Sea Mammals/Facebook as Albi Deak/website Updated at 03:38 on 26 May. 2014 UTC) is another who posts some anti-whaling comments on Prime Minister’s Office of Japan. This discussion is originally with Toru Seo and Yamamoto San on an entry on 18 Apr. 2014. Now you cannot see without logged-in. But I captured the comments on 27 Apr. 2014 and the images are on my server: FTP/HTTP.

Sea Mammals says “it is amusing to think like non-scientists in short term…” and “Eat whales and dolphins at risk to a morbillivirus epidemic. I wish you much fun with whale meat. But does not say we searchers and biologists did not warn .“. It makes he look a biologist or so. But this quoted part is a lie, against his source saying “To date, there are no reported cases of human infection with cetacean morbillivirus. Morbillviruses do not tend to infect hosts that are not closely related“. If not a lie, he would completely misunderstand what morbilliviruses are.

Prologue

Sea Mammals Fish stocks in the oceans are dramatically below 18%.

is stupid-thinking, the whales are blame .

Who lives in the sea, the humans or the marine animals?

Needless to mention, who has privilege of the fishes.

The humans has exploited the seas with machine-fishing , the humans has alone blame for this Missere.

The arrogant Humans reproduces herself like the cockroaches on this planet.

The Humans is the problem on this planet, not the Animals.

Yamamoto San @Sea Mammals: if you think human is such a problem, why dont you volunteer to take yourself off this planet first.

Sea Mammals @Yamamoto San ; The principle in biology “mass-propagation” have you not understand.

In the past 50 years its the human-quantity from 3 billion to 8 billion grown; to the next 50-70 years living 22 billion people on this planet.

How you want these people feed? with human meat?

“Destroy the humans the nature, he destroys himself”

Sea Mammals @Yamamoto San ; it is amusing to think like non-scientists in short term…

Also Panda would probably be on your menu …?

April 22 12:04 am · Edited

Yamamoto San Pandas are critically endangered, most species of dolphins and Minke whales are not

Toru Seo @sea mammals

So you want to talk science? In that case, please start with facts and tell me why Japan will deplete these animals.

The risk of morbillivirus epidemics?

Sea Mammals @Toru Seo ,@ Yamamoto San; Eat whales and dolphins at risk to a morbillivirus epidemic. I wish you much fun with whale meat. But does not say we searchers and biologists did not warn .

Yamamoto San Thank you for your concern, there are virus outbreaks in all types of animals, Mad Cow disease, Bird Flu. Cetaceans are no exception to being affected by diseases.

Emmanuel Chanel >Eat whales and dolphins at risk to a morbillivirus epidemic.

Where on http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/pr/health/mmume/faqs_morbillivirus_ume.html says so, first of all? This quoted part looks to mean even that it’s little possible that cetacean morbillivirus infect humans. Even if it’s very possible, I just agree Yamamoto San , though.

>Q. What is the risk to humans from this virus?

>

>A. To date, there are no reported cases of human infection with cetacean morbillivirus. Morbillviruses do not tend to infect hosts that are not closely related, and humans have their own morbillivirus, which is measles. More information on measles can be found can be found on the CDC website CDC website.

April 25 10:44am

Toru Seo “We searchers and biologists…” Do you mean we researchers and biologists? This alone tells you the level of a “biologist” you are.

Speaking on science, EC has already said it but morbillivirus is a RNA virus that requires specific host to propagate. As such cetacean morbillivirus is very unlikely to infect humans (we have our own called measles).

This is Biology 101 and you failed for lack of knowledge, not using empirical data, and most importantly, by lying.

Sea Mammals @Toru Seo , @Emmanuel Chanel , Morbillivirus mutated to the disadvantage of all mammalia…

Yesterday 04:52am 1

Emmanuel Chanel Sea Mammals: Show your source! You wouldn’t really have any, though.

Toru Seo Virus mutation is common but stating without any evidence is nothing more than a lie. And you want to talk like a scientist, psssst, please,,,!

Commentary

Looking us down, Sea Mammals tries to dazzle and to scare us with a scientist card and with “morbillivirus”, a buzz word. But what morbilliviruses are is actually a very basic knowledge of biology to Toru Seo. And we, Japanese people can find it a very essential knowledge of medicine and veterinary science very easily with seeing モルビリウイルス:麻疹ウイルス,イヌジステンパーウイルスなど of Vol. 62 of ウイルス, the magazine of the Japanese Society for Virology.

* When I saw his website at the first, I found that he refers morbillivirus and brucella on its facts page or so in German. But now I can’t find. Possibly I misremember, though. I haven’t captured it. It would be interesting if I could’ve done and crossexamined him about it.
