It’s the sequel of 007 Casino Royale, the former work of the 007 movie series by EON Productions.
When the screenplay is started, I wondered if I entered a wrong room since the start scene isn’t the gun shooting scene on the head of the movies before Casino Royale. I found the room correct when I see the car chase by Daniel Craig. The gun shooting scene is brought to the end, instead of the bed scene with the Bond girl that is not shown on that movie. I felt that the series is renewed with going back the typical. And Jewish names like Greene and White of some enemies were appearing, too.
On the original novel of Casino Royale, Vesper’s lover is a pilot of British Air Force but on the movie, he’s French and refferred also on Quantom of Solace. On the renewed part from Casino Royale, the theme of 007 will be the fight against Quantom, the criminal organization permeating also MI6, CIA, and so on, being continued to the next movie.

I try registering Google Adsense and I find that I cannot change the size of the unit seen right below.
You would see the advertisement on the right side below now. I know that affiliate programs don’t earn me much. But I want even a little possibility of getting little money. I don’t see many access this website. So I can’t expect much money. I found unfavorable point.
On Google Adsence (at least the Japanese version), for making the unit on the right below, I register the unit on my account on that site. And I cannot change the size of the unit on its setting page. Someone on ディスカッション > トラブルシューティング > adsense unit (Discussion > Trouble Shooting > adsense unit) has already written that. And I dislike it as well as he does.
Suspect X’s Devotion (Yougisha X no Kenshin, 容疑者 X の献身)
I watched Suspect X’s Devotion (Yougisha X no Kenshin, 容疑者 X の献身), a movie of mystery. It’s based on the novel with that title by Keigo Higashino (東野圭吾). Manabu Yukawa (湯川学), the hero of that movie is an associate of physics in Teito University (Teito Daigaku, 帝都大学) and he solves many occultic cases by scientific analysis, by a police detective’s questions. The series of cases is called Tantei Galileo (Detective Galileo, 探偵ガリレオ) on novels and Galileo (ガリレオ) on TV.(The movie is shown as a sequel of the drama version.) Galileo is the nickname of the hero.
On the whole series, the actors of the cases are shown in trailors and in first of each episodes. The points of mysteries are how the phenomenons happnen or what are the tricks. Not usual as mysteries, thoese cases are with more or less too advanced science and technology for usual people. So psysicians can solve the problems in story. That’s the concept of the series. (On the drama verison, the hero lists many formulas when he solved the mysteries but it doesn’t make sense for solving the problems.) On that movies, we know who are the actors, too. The problem is what the trick is, too. I couldn’t find the answer till the end.
I cleanly installed etch on an old PC. And NFS didn’t work. Now it looks working but I don’t know why.
I have an old PC given by a friend. And I installed Debian etch 4.0 via network. I installed NFS server with postgresql 7.4 . I wanted the NFS server and not postgresql . But the NFS server didn’t work even with these lines.

When I tried to mount, it says:
mount.nfs: mount to NFS server ‘rpcbind’ failed: RPC Error: Program not registered
mount.nfs: internal error
Trouble with reducing /usr and /var
I wanted to expand the /tmp partition (On a Logical Volume.) on Fedora 9. So seeing 3 GB free space on /usr and /var in total, I tried to reduce them in single user mode. But it doesn’t let me unmount them.
I messed up for a long time. But someone said why I didn’t edit /etc/fstab for not mounting the file systems. So I did like this.

Restarting in the single user mode after that, I could resize the file systems. But it’s not recommended since you can fail. Someone advised me to use a rescue CD and someone advised me to use Knoppix.
My Fiber Cable is Cut
On Sunday, maybe, you couldn’t access this server. It’s because the cut of my fiber cable of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation (NTT East). It’s by my mother with stumble of it early in the morning. And I found the cut around the noon. It’s got recovered till 16:30 on that day.
The fiber cable is not only the internet cable but also the phone cable. So I had to call NTT east by my cell phone. NTT‘s operator said that they didn’t know how many minutes they would cost repeatingly several times. But they sent the repairers in current day.
We expected that it would cost few days. So I’m a bit surprised. But probably in over seas, you would cost much more days.
I installed Fedora 9 few days ago and failed to burn my irc log and so on with Brasero.
I installed Fedora 9 by network installation. I had Fedora 8. (Fedora is one of the biggest linux distribution.) Soon after that, I tried to backup my log of irc chat and so on via Brasero. And I failed. It doesn’t complete to burn DVD-R correctly when I tried to burn it from the project directly. I found the bugzilla entry of Ubuntu: Brasero requieres 4GiB on /tmp to write an iso image
You can install it without a DVD media with the way below. (I forgot to record them. So I write it by my memory.)
- put Fedora-9-i386-DVD.iso on another server’s root of the nfs exported directory. (Now I name)

- mount -o loop Fedora-9-i386-DVD.iso /opt
- cd /opt/isolinux
- Copy vmlinuz and initrg.img to /boot
- vim /boot/menu.lst

- Go to the selection screen and select “Fedora 9 Installer”.
I’ve used only Fedora and Debian. So I know only those two. I love Linux for its CLI, especially bash. I found that I don’t know bash well but it let me use the commandline very conveniently.
Kurosagi the movie
I watched Kurosagi the movie (映画 クロサギ) today, too.
Kurosagi is originally a manga serialization by Kuromaru and Takeshi Natsuhara on Weekly Young Sunday (週刊ヤングサンデー). It was made into a TV drama from 14 Apr. to 23 Jun. in 2006 and the movie is the sequel of the drama.
Kurosaki, the hero of it is a swingler burning up only cons. In TV shows, he has clients in all cases but in the original, not in all. In the original, as he does in TV shows, he buys information from Katsura, the fixer of swingler society. Katsura is the planner of fraud leading Kurosaki’s father to family suicide. So Kurosaki, himself is a victim of fraud and he’s become one for revenge on all cons but he needs Katsura.
In all versions, Kurosagi looks a sort of Mission Impossible since all episodes show interesting tricks. The episode of Kurosagi the movie, too. It is based on the original serialization, too, as the all episodes of the TV drama version. One swingler’s con smashed up many corporations to damage Japanese economy itself. So Katsura whip him by Kurosaki.
I’d read the original episode when I watched the movie but probably you can enjoy much more without reading it.
Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear reminds me of Nodame Cantabile
Today, I watched Detective Conan: Full Score of Fear (名探偵コナン 戦慄の楽譜), which is the movie of Detective Conan in 2008, this year. Detective Conan is originally a mystery manga serialization by Gosho Aoyama (青山剛晶) on Shonen Sunday (少年サンデー) and the anime based on it. I like mystery. So I watch every movie of Detective Conan.
One big theme of the movie is classical music. So it reminds me of Nodame Cantable (のだめカンタービレ), the live drama based on the honomymous manga by Tomoko Ninomiya (二宮知子) since it was a drama about classical music on air in 2006. I watched its repeat several times in 2007. I hear that it influenced the popularity of classical music in Japan. So I felt the possibility that it influenced Detective Conan, too.
The Renewal of My Website.
I renewed this home page and changed it a blog. I don’t have custom to keep diary. So I won’t refresh it often. It sounds bad, heh. I originally made this website as a salon for my Japanese conservative friends. But changing my nick to this, I try to make it also an international website. So I translate my links page into English and this blog is in English. I’ve written some entries on a nucleus system before installing this blog. But I don’t know how to recover them on this blog. So I haven’t entered any logs.
On the net, I’m interested in many stuff. As a conservative Japanese, I want to help conservative people if little. I haven’t helped someone on Wikipedia, though. I like animes, American TV dramas, IRC, and so on, too. As a conservative Japanese, I cannot agree that the Jenin Massacre denial is denialism. When the enemies wearing civilian suits creep into civilians, it’s clear that no armies cannot keep from killing civilians. I learned that in the discussion of Nanjing Massacre denial. (cf. ejcjs – The Nanjing Incident: Recent Research and Trends:) I had some arguments on some IRC channels of Israel about my view of Japanese history and got angry but it’s not integral to accuse Israel of killing civilians.
